What is an electronic circuit?
An electronic circuit is composed of individual electronic components, such as Resistors, Transistors, Capacitors, Inductors and Diodes, connected by conductive wires or traces through which electric current can flow.

Why are electrical circuits important?
An electric current in a circuit transfers energy from the battery to the circuit components. No current is ‘used-up’ in this process. In most circuits, the moving charged particles are negatively charged electrons that are always present in the wires and other components of the circuit.

How do electronics work? 
These are the simplest components in any circuit. Their job is to restrict the flow of electrons and reduce the current or voltage flowing by converting electrical energy into heat Resistors come in different shapes and sizes.

These were some of the basic electronic circuit principles we answered and demonstrated to these kids using the InnoBox STEAM kits which teaches kids the basics of electronics in a fun way by connecting various circuit board components to generate electric current using batteries and solar panels.
